 Sure there are other options on the market but they are not a custom made Jayco hitch. This hitch is not adjustable which means it will fit like a glove and preserve the integrity of your trailer frame. Because this is a Jayco rear hitch receiver featuring the most universal 2” receiver opening – you can re-use any existing bike rack that works with a 2” receiver on your trailer. Now you don’t need to buy a separate bike rack or cargo tray that only works on your trailer. If you want to carry a cargo tray or a bike rack for your camper trailer, you have 450 pounds of capacity to work with – that is the highest capacity available for an RV rear bumper hitch.

Storage Tips for your Jayco trailer

• Maximize your space by using your Jayco exterior storage using a cargo tray or bike rack
• If you have a 2” bike rack or cargo tray already, save yourself some money and re-use them with this Jayco hitch instead of buying a new rack that only works with your trailer
• Maximize the 450 pound capacity on this rear RV hitch by storing your generator on it using the Lock N’ Load generator tray which allows you to lock, store and use your generator without removing it from the lockable tray.

Towing Capacity Information

**This trailer hitch is rated for towing a trailer behind your RV which is commonly referred to as triple towing. Triple towing can only be done in states where it is legal. Check with the state you are traveling in to determine if it is legal to tow behind your RV. Also consult your RV owners manual for triple tow rating information.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

While EcoHitch®️ trailer hitches are built with high-strength materials and tested for exceptional weight ratings, your vehicle’s factory towing capacities are the ultimate limit. Always refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual to determine its maximum towing and tongue weight ratings. No aftermarket hitch or accessory can increase your vehicle’s factory-rated towing capacities.

Using hauling accessories like extensions, cargo trays, bike racks, or other accessories that extend the load out from the trailer hitch, will significantly reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch system.
