The PowerArmor is a high quality locking aluminum battery box. With RV battery security in mind, PowerArmor is developed specifically to prevent increasingly common and expensive battery theft and related damage to wiring from 'cut and run' thefts.

This secure RV battery box is available in multiple sizes for both 12 and 6 volt battery applications. It's engineered to hold and protect either Group 24 to Group 31 12 volt batteries or 6 volt T105 or SC2 golf cart batteries. The design uses a unique lockable slide top (lock included) for quick, easy access. It can also be used for safe lockable storage when not used for batteries. By using it with batteries, you have extra battery power for your RV, truck camper, truck, van etc. There is an access hole in the back of the PowerArmor for the electrical wires to pass through the side wall of the box so it can be easily wired into your electrical circuit and incorporates a special design for proper battery ventilation. The PowerArmor line comes with Torklift International's Legendary Lifetime Warranty and is proudly made in the USA.

It is well made and protects your batteries from theft. The solar panel maintain a charge as advertised. Changes I would suggest are upgrading the 4 screws on the solar wire entrance port to stainless steel, and providing foam inserts to keep the batteries in place once installed. The battery tie downs provided won't keep the batteries from shifting if travailing on rough roads. I used marine grade connectors/shrink wrap, high end battery jumpers, and wire looms so once installed it is a "forget about it" project until the batteries require replacement down the road. A wire kit providing these items and lengths of various gauge wire would be a good product option for this box. Will upgrade to two 6 volts batteries when these wear out.

Quality

I had been looking for a quality propane tank lock and this one is exactly as described. The lock is robust and allows you to lock two propane tanks and a regulator with the lock and built in key.

Great, heavy duty battery box with solar panel. I bought it about one year ago and it is still rugged and wiring well. The heavy duty locks and construction keep My batteries stare and charged by the sun.

It has been a super product. I think that the only weak link is the connector from the panel to the outside of the box. That is clearly showing UV damage. I do not know if any of your customers ever used the external female plug to the battery for anything else - I did and found the box is wired backwards based on RED being hot! I did check all my wiring to make sure red is to positive inside the box. Since I dry camp, I bring in 30-40 gallons of water per trip. I purchased a 12v self priming water pump and proceeded to connect the same type trailer connector to my pump Did not want to have to keep opening the box up. To my surprise the pump ran backwards. I used the alligator clips to the battery and the pump ran correctly. I determined that female connector on the outside of the box is not wired with red to the positive. I simply reversed my connection and the pump runs correctly now. Great product. Wish you had a ventilated security box for my honda e2000 generator.

I would absolutely say this lockable battery box with solar panel is a great product and very well built. Even before I installed this on my travel trailer the sun was hitting the solar panel at an angle in the garage and I tested the for voltage, (19 volts DC). I was totally sold on the ability of this solar panel, the solar panel was in my garage and not in direct sunlight. Although I could have installed this box with all supplied parts and hardware I took it a step further, cut some angle iron and welded the angle iron mounts on top of the frame. Turned out real nice and looks real nice too! This box looks like it should have come with my travel trailer manufacturer. Very happy costumer, feel secure about the ability to lock up my batteries and they stay charged too!
